Who likes fennel?! Not the seeds, the large, white bulb! Not being a particular fan of licorice, I can’t say that fennel is on the top of my grocery list–ever–but a few years ago I had some tomato fennel soup that was out-of-this-world good. And I have been wanting to make it ever since. This […]
I’ve never made dilly beans before. In fact, the only pickled thing I’ve made is refrigerator pickles, so this seemed like a step up because of the canning process to make them shelf stable. But they are really easy to make–I made a batch in about an hour and a half. Not bad. And they’re […]
Do you love eggplant Parmesan? I do, but I don’t really like the extra calories of battered, deep fried eggplant. And if I’m making it myself, I don’t enjoy battering, breading, and frying it. See you Tuesday.
We’ve got more cherries coming your way! In addition, we have yellow squash, sweet onions, kale, basil, and garlic. Should be a great week!
Hi everyone! Due to lack of interest, we will not be offering cheese, milk, or fun shares this year. We have to purchase these items in specific quantities and with the lack of interest, we are just not going to offer them this summer. We may try again next year.
If you purchase a share online, you may still see these shares in our store. Please do not add them to your cart. They will be removed shortly by one of our volunteers when time allows. Thanks for your patience in this matter.
We are still selling produce and egg shares, so if you haven’t yet signed up, you’ve got a few more weeks to do so. We’ll stop taking orders May 30.

For me, I chose to start raising chickens because I loved the idea of having my own fresh supply of eggs from the girls. I didn’t realize the […]
