Helena Local CSA:

• Promotes agricultural land use, which preserves habitat and the local landscape

CSA’s are different from community to community, but at the core they consist of families and individuals of a community who are committed to support their local farmers for a season. By doing so, those families and individuals get a share of vegetables that is determined by what is currently ready to harvest. This results in fresher tastier food reaching the tables of the people participating in the CSA.
